Hi, my name is Beth. I was born in Akron, Ohio and was raised in a very large family. (1 out of 10 Kids). I grew up on Marco Island and Naples, Florida. I worked in the services industry all my life and fell in love with Asheville many years ago and realized our dream when we relocated here 4 years ago. My family is my world. I am thankful for Jim, my husband of 30 years, my children Melissa, Timothy, Racheal, Debbie, and Robbee. Also, I treasure my 2 grandchildren Alexander and Gwendolyn. I enjoy my good friends and they enrich my life. I am so blessed to have a job I truly enjoy and affords me the time I love to spend with my family! I look forward to meeting you all and feel privileged that you chose us to be part of your vacation and will do my best to ensure that all my guests have a great time on our Ghost Tour!
The beauty and mystery of Asheville lured me all the way from Texas two years ago. My day job consists of marketing and freelance writing, but I enjoy "Chasing Ghosts" at night. I have a lifelong interest in history's mysteries and, if there are spirits involved, it's that much better. I have written ghost stories for a Texas newspaper, experienced the paranormal first hand doing tours in Scotland and Ireland, and lived for 5 years in a haunted house. These experiences don't make me an expert, but have certainly spurred my interest in the paranormal. I am the mother of 3 amazing kids who have grown up visiting cemeteries and out of the way haunts, and becoming comfortable with all things unseen. I look forward to sharing stories, answering questions, and uncovering more mysteries on the next tour.
Howdy, my name is Gabriel. I moved here in the spring of 2004, from Chicago, after a serendipitous experience during a visit. I cannot say enough about how much of an impact Asheville has had on my life. This is a very powerful place to be, both spiritually and creatively. I was raised in rural West Virginia, it was there that I first discovered my kinship with the paranormal. My parents have many stories about all of the bizarre things I would see and the adventures my "invisible friends" would take me on. When I was 10 years old I saw my grandfather's ghost and wrote an award winning short story about it. Nearly every house we ever lived in since was haunted, as my parents were both interested in antiques and old homes. I could probably tell ghost stories for days. I am a professional artist most of the time. My art deals with the paranormal, dreams and mythology. I have been fortunate enough to have my work exhibited in dozens of shows nationally and internationally, while being sold to hundreds of collectors, celebrities, galleries and museums. I would be my pleasure to introduce you to some of the many mysteries this amazing town has to offer.
My name is Melissa. I have the best son ever, my angel, Alexander. he brings so much to my life. I have an awesome family. My sweet parents Beth and Jim. My undescribable sissy Racheal and her hubby Robbie. Their most beautiful daughter Gwendolyn. I also have a brother Tim and his new wife Debbie. I love you all so much! I was born and raised for 25 years in Naples, Florida and I have to say I love Asheville, North Carolina. I am an Esthetician by day and your tour guide at night. I have always had an interest in the unknown, so this is a fun job for me. So come on and join me for a fun filled, exciting visit and tour here in Asheville.
